airberlin flies to Innsbruck five times a week

Winter holiday destination

Fun at the Bergiselschanze

Innsbruck, which refers to itself as the capital of the Alps, is a popular winter holiday destination. The city is charming and elegant, with a great mix of attractions, culture and breathtakingly beautiful scenery. Skiing, winter hiking and sledging are all just a stone’s throw away when you are in Innsbruck. What is more, though, most of the other skiing regions in Tyrol and South Tyrol are close to Innsbruck airport too – only one to one-and-a-half hours away.

Skiing Innsbruck

airberlin will increase its flight frequencies from Berlin Tegel to Innsbruck right on time for the start of the snow and skiing season. From 12 December, the airline will be flying five times a week to Tyrol’s most populated city. Flights will take place around midday on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. The flight time is around one hour and twenty minutes. This schedule gives winter holidaymakers – and business travellers too – greater flexibility when planning their trips, in particular mini breaks.
