Germania takes off to new sunny destinations

The brand new connection to Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, is the latest addition to the flight schedule. Germania will be flying the route, weekly, over the winter season, reviving a flight path between Germany's capital and the Red Sea resort, which has remained unused for four and a half years. Furthermore the airline will be stationing an additional aeroplane at Schönefeld airport.

In further news, Germania will be improving the connections between SXF and Hurghada, Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria on the winter flight schedule. This means that flights to Hurghada are being increased from once to three times a week. Passengers can escape the winter cold to the Canary Islands of Fuerteventura und Gran Canaria for the very first time. As with last winter, Tenerife and Paphos can be accessed via Cyprus. When it comes to routes to the Near East, Germania is also offering several flights a week to Tehran and Beirut this winter and remains firm partners in intercultural aviation with them.

The dedication of the green and white airline is part of an on-site growth program, which also extends to Berlin-Tegel airport. From 1st November 2017, Germania will station an aeroplane here and, in cooperation with tour operators, offer flights from the Canary Islands to Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Tenerife. A further increase is then planned for May 2018, when Germania will deploy a further two aeroplanes in Berlin-Tegel.
