Air France's new brand takes off in Berlin


"Air France's little sister" will be taking over the route from Berlin Tegel to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport from 1st December. All 38 flights to the French capital will still be available. Mainly, Joon is targeting young, price-conscious fliers. Trainers and organic food – the airline is playing on the typical hipster image. Blue and white are their chosen concept colours: from the interior of the cabin to the stewards' outfits. Slim line trousers and nautical stripes define the new 'uniform', which is made from recycled PET bottles. And the icing on the cake is that the crew all wear white trainers. The new airline is also trend-conscious when it comes to food on-board. Offers include smoothies, fair-trade coffee or tapas. Facilities and entertainment systems on-board are also adjusted for a young client base. So of course at every seat there is a USB charging port and the entertainment system offers series such as Game of Thrones.
