To the Big Apple with Delta Airlines

Delta Air Lines

Delta Air Lines once again this summer connects New York, the vibrant metropolis on the Atlantic, with Berlin Tegel with a daily direct flight. Due to high demand, the long-haul flight will be offered earlier and significantly longer this year – from 5th May 2018 until the flight plan change at the end of October 2018.

The flight times are ideal for passengers who want to make the most of their New York visit. The American airline’s flights take-off daily at 12:55 in Berlin Tegel with touchdown in New York at 16:01 local time. Following one last full day in the metropolis on the Atlantic, it’s time to head back to Berlin at 20:30 from JFK airport. The arrival in Tegel takes place at 11:00 local time. The flight duration is between eight and a half and nine hours depending on the direction. A Boeing 767-300 with 208 seats including 26 in business class is employed for the service.

The Big Apple, as the city is affectionately called, puts millions of visitors a year under its spell. The list of must-see sights is long. The most famous include the Statue of Liberty (the city’s emblem), the Empire State Building, the viewing deck at the Rockerfeller Centre, the Brooklyn Bridge (arguably the most famous bridge in New York), Times Square, Central Park (the largest haven of peace in New York City), High Line Park (two kilometres of a goods train path converted into a park – not to miss!), Chinatown, and since a few years the One World Trade Center with the National 9/11 Memorial. Those who wish to see all of these, need plenty of time. And a pencil, to update the ever-growing list must-sees.
