Winter Flight Schedule 2018/2019


There are plenty of new destinations to choose from in the winter flight schedules for Schönefeld and Tegel Airports, whether you want sun or snow, or whether you are looking for a holiday at the beach, at a resort or in a city.

  • SAS Scandinavian Airlines will start flying from Berlin Tegel to Gothenburg in Sweden as early as 26 October. Flights on this route will operate up to four times a week.
  • This winter, Eurowings will be flying to the Canary Islands (Spain). From 28 October 2018, there will be two flights a week to Lanzarote and Gran Canaria. Flights to Tenerife will then operate once a week, starting on 31 October.
  • From 28 October, there will also be direct flights from Berlin Tegel to Malta. Twice a week, Air Malta connects Berlin’s largest airport with the island state in the Mediterranean.
  • In addition, easyJet is continuing to expand its range of flights from both Berlin airports. The airline now flies from Tegel to Warsaw (Poland, daily, from 28 October), Innsbruck (Austria, four times a week, from 10 December), Hurghada (Egypt, once a week, from 3 November) and Agadir (Morocco, twice a week, from 31 October). Flights to Athens (Greece, daily, from 28 October) and Pisa (Italy, twice a week, from 28 October) will be offered from Tegel this winter. As soon as the winter timetable is effective, flights to Basel will also operate from Tegel (Switzerland, twice a week, from 28 October).
  • From 28 October, Laudamotion will then be flying twice a week to Marrakech in Morocco and five times a week to Naples in Italy. Starting on 30 October, the budget airline’s planes will take off three times a week to Alicante (Spain).
  • From 28 October onwards, Iberia Express will fly once more per day to Madrid. Flights will then operate three times a day to the capital of Spain.
  • KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will be flying to Amsterdam six times a week, seven times a day, starting on 28 October.
  • BA City Flyer will also be operating more frequent flights to London City Airport this winter. The airline will fly to the heart of London on Saturdays, and on Sundays too, starting on 16 December. 19 flights a week (instead of 16 flights a week) will operate directly from Berlin Tegel.
  • Germania will fly to La Palma on the Canary Islands (Spain) from 1 November onwards. The Berlin airline will fly to this sunny destination twice a week. Germania will connect Berlin Tegel with Agadir in Morocco from 7 November. Flights to this Atlantic seaside resort will operate once a week. From 7 November, there will be more flights to Yerevan. The planes will take off for Armenia’s capital in their green and white livery twice a week instead of once a week.


  • easyJet will add the airports Stockholm-Arlanda (Sweden, six times a week, from 28 October), Turin (Italy, three times a week, from 28 October), Gran Canaria (Canary Islands/Spain, once a week, from 30 October) and Lanzarote (Canary Islands/Spain, twice a week, from 28 October) as well as Aqaba (Jordan, once a week, from 3 November) to its flight schedule from Berlin Schönefeld. The connection from Berlin to Ljubljana (Slovenia, three times a week, from 29 October) is now offered from Schönefeld. The connection to Paris-Charles de Gaulle (France, daily, from 28 October) from Schönefeld is also new on the flight schedule for the low-cost airline.
  • The winter flight schedule for the Irish low-cost airline Ryanair will be extended to cover four more destinations. The airline has operated flights to Faro in Portugal since 5 October. The service will be extended to Edinburgh (Great Britain, six times a week) from 28 October and to Marrakech (Morocco, twice a week) one day later. The connection to Eilat-Owda Airport in Israel will also be operated again from 29 October.
