Public transport strike on Monday


On Monday, public transport throughout the city will be extremely restricted due to a strike by the Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG). The city buses, underground trains and trams will be affected. The trade union ver.di has called for work stoppage from the start of operations (3:30 a.m.) for 24 hours.

During this period, the bus lines TXL, X9, 128 and 109 will not operate at Tegel Airport.

Passengers from Schönefeld should switch to the S-Bahn Berlin and regional trains operated by Deutsche Bahn.

Bus shuttle service from and to Tegel
