To Munich with Eurowings

02.05.2019

Eurowings will now be taking off from Berlin-Tegel to Munich up to four times a day. The departure times during the week are tailored to the needs of business travellers and at the weekend they are suitable for spontaneous city breaks. The first Eurowings flight of the day to Munich leaves TXL as early as 7:00am and the last reaches the capital city region at 9:55pm. The flight time is one hour and ten minutes.
With this new route, Eurowings has increased its range of flights on offer. This summer, the airline will be flying to 19 destinations in eight countries, including domestic German flights to Düsseldorf, Cologne/Bonn, Karlsruhe, Stuttgart, Nuremberg and now to Munich too.

Munich

The state capital of Bavaria is a major business location and one of the most liveable cities in the country. The city has a charming allure and diverse architecture from different eras: not only is the gothic Frauenkirche cathedral from the 15th century worth a visit, but also the Nymphenburg castle with its spacious park. The numerous cafés on Marienplatz square in the heart of the city invite you to linger for a traditional snack or coffee. The daily glockenspiel at the New Town Hall (Neues Rathaus), one of the largest glockenspiels in Germany, is a spectacle not only for tourists.

The atmosphere of the city, extensive sports and recreational opportunities in the numerous parks, a large range of shopping opportunities (for example, the world-famous Viktualienmarkt food market) major museums, as well as Oktoberfest in autumn, attract not only business travellers but several million tourists every year.
