Airport Campus Summer Semester

Check-in to the university with a view: Airport Campus summer semester, the lecture series on aviation topics for students in Berlin and Brandenburg, will start on 9 May. In this free lecture series, students get not only an exclusive look behind the scenes at BER, but also a wealth of expertise from the theory and practice of experts in the aviation industry.

The opening lecture will be held by Carsten Wilmsen, Head of Construction and Engineering at Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH, on the subject of "Airport Infrastructure through time". On 12 June, "Operational Readiness and Airport Transfer (ORAT)" will be the topic on the agenda delivered by FBB Head of Operations Patrick Muller. On 11 July, Andreas Klupsch, Head of Airport Fire Services, and Karsten Guszahn, Head of Area and Vehicle Services, will give their account on their operations at the Berlin airports. Registration for all three events are still open.

Half an hour before the lectures begin, the airport's recruiting team invites students to learn about the diversity of professional and career prospects surrounding airport operations.
