To Sarajevo nonstop with Eurowings

From now, Eurowings connects Berlin-Tegel with the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The airline will take off three times a week direct to the Balkan metropolis on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays. The flight time is just under two hours.

Eurowings has ramped up its flight offers from Berlin with the 2019 summer flight schedule. In addition to the new connection to Sarajevo, the Berlin-Munich route was also added to the flight schedule. The Lufthansa subsidiary has been flying to the Bavarian capital up to four times a day since May.

Sarajevo – The Bridge between East and West

The chequered history of this country shapes the cityscape of the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina even to this day. In the city of four religions are Orthodox and Catholic churches, Mosques and Synagogues next door to each other. All at once, the Balkan metropolis boasts a unique blend of eastern and European influences, cultural events such as the Sarajevo Film Festival, and the warm hospitality of its inhabitants. In the heart of the city, the eastern-seeming Baščaršija bazaar with its traditional craft shops invites you to shop and haggle, while the coffee culture is celebrated in the small coffee houses. In the numerous restaurants, you can sample traditional dishes such as Ćevapčići or Baklava, and pubs and bars draw in locals and visitors, especially in the evening hours.
