The golden autumn is here. While those grey November days and short, cold winter days may still be far from your mind, they are at the forefront of ours when it comes to holiday recommendations for this rather unpleasant time of year. How about our new sunny destinations Miami or Ras al-Khaimah? As with every month, we have compiled some information on the new destinations from Schönefeld and Tegel as well as on the airports themselves. If you are planning on travelling with children, you can test the new children’s play area at the airport. You can also look forward to new shops in Schönefeld and Tegel. And last but not least, we have a few tips on places to visit for those of you staying home.
Best wishes from the Berlin Airport News editorial team

Look forward to better service in Schönefeld: over the next few months, Terminal C will be equipped with an additional three security checkpoints. If you have already checked in online in advance and are only travelling with hand luggage, you will soon be able to quickly reach your departure gate. An additional area will be created in Terminal D with passport controls and shopping opportunities for Non-Schengen passengers. The waiting areas in Schönefeld’s Terminal A are also set to be expanded. In light of Ryanair’s plans for expansion and new base, millions more passengers will be able to depart from Berlin Schönefeld Airport.
