Photography and filming requests

Please note the information below this form.

Please complete the boxes marked with an *.

General information

Current information: Please understand that we are currently only able to plan for requests for journalistic photos and films on a daily basis at the existing airports Tegel, Schönefeld and the new Berlin Brandenburg Airport and that this is only possible on a very limited basis.

Your contact partner is the Press Office (telephone: +49 30 6091 70100).

To register, please fill out and send us the filming request approval form above.

Please note: filming, photography and audio recordings can be restricted, retracted, postponed to another date or refused without giving reasons since capacity bottlenecks, political restrictions, accidents, specific threats or similar can occur at short notice.

  • Please also consider the road traffic regulations (StVO) in the course of your filming and photography work. Vehicles may only be parked in the designated spaces.
  • Media enquiries for commercial purposes are unfortunately not currently possible.
  • Employees at Berlin’s airports may not be filmed directly (right to their own image) or only with permission. If passengers or employees feel uncomfortable, this can lead to filming being stopped or cancelled.
  • The instructions of airport employees must be followed at all times. Please contact the Press Office if complications arise (telephone: +49 30 6091 70100).
  • Please observe the security regulations in the aviation security area as there will be a security check and any items that are not permitted may be retained.

Furthermore, we ask you to consider that not all topics fall into our exclusive area of responsibility. Filming in the aircraft is decided by the respective airlines, the tower is operated by Deutsche Flugsicherung, passengers and cargo by ground handling companies; filming customs or the Federal Police is approved by the respective authorities. This means that the decision is made by several companies.

Where necessary, we can help by establishing contacts or helping with the coordination. Filming and photography may be refused without further explanation in connection with capacity bottlenecks or politically justified restrictions.

Media activities in the security area entail a significantly higher overall effort and require the transmission of personal data for registering with airport security. Filming and photographing security equipment and staff are strictly prohibited. The general aviation security regulations apply.
