Development sites at BBI attract great interest
Berlin Airports will again be attending the Expo Real 2007 real estate show, which takes place from 8 – 10 October in Munich. The focus of Berlin Airports’ marketing activities is on two very attractive sites: the BBI Airport City and the BBI Business Park Berlin. Both these sites at the Capital Airport BBI offer potential investors optimum development and ROI potential.

“The real estate business has recognised that the new BBI is the prime location for the future for the entire Berlin-Brandenburg region,” stated Thomas Weyer, BBI/Technical Director at Berlin Airports. “By attending Real Expo 2007 we’re giving potential investors from Germany and abroad the opportunity to get an early, upfront look at the great advantages of these prime development locations.”

The BBI Airport City is situated in an exclusive location, directly opposite the central terminal. The Airport City will be one of the most advanced service and office complexes in the entire region. The development comprises a number of variable plots, enabling investors to build offices, hotel, gastronomy, retail and conference spaces around a central plaza. Centrally located high-rise car parks are only a few minutes’ walk from the terminals.

On the north-east perimeter of the airport Berlin Airports is planning the city’s largest business and industrial park – the BBI Business Park Berlin. This generously landscaped 109-hectare area offers customised, consolidated plots with roads and full access to public services. The project is ideal for a broad range of different businesses - from start-ups to back offices, from regional distribution centres to producers with global operations. The first development section is scheduled for completion by mid-2008.
