Daily construction work prolonged by two hours

Schoenefeld's South runway closed all day Sunday
Daily construction work on the South runway of Schoenefeld Airport will be prolonged by two hours between 21 and 25 November 2007, ending at 2400 hours instead of the normal 2200 hours. On Sunday, 25 November 2007 the South runway will be closed for aircraft movements between 0600 and 2400 hours.
All air traffic will be diverted to the old North runway during the closure period.
Berlin Airports regrets any noise nuisance caused to residents in the vicinity of the airport by this diversion. The North runway will be closed down permanently at the end of 2007.
