The Icelandic low-cost airline WOW air launches its new scheduled services to Berlin, Stuttgart and Cologne
Scheduled flights operated by the new Icelandic carrier WOW air landed for the first time on 5 June 2012 in Berlin, Stuttgart and Cologne. The German airports welcomed the two Airbus A320 aircraft with the traditional water salute courtesy of the airport fire brigade.

Service on board takes top priority at WOW air

What makes WOW air special are not only the attractively priced, dependable and convenient direct flights to Iceland, but also the service. Service is a top-priority management issue at WOW Air, literally: once a month, Skuli Mogensen, the Chairman of the Board, and WOW air‘s CEO Baldur Baldursson will personally be on board as flight attendants to ensure that passengers’ Icelandic experience starts the minute they board the aircraft.

WOW air flies from its German destinations to Europe’s northern-most capital city every Tuesday and Thursday. For more information about the carrier’s summer flight schedule, which is valid until 3 September 2012, visit
