flytouropa launches with a new service to Memmingen
Berlin has gained a new domestic service; on 11 June for the very first time a plane took off from Schoenefeld Airport to Allgäu Airport in Memmingen, marking the start of a new domestic service between the capital city and Bavaria. The new brand flytouropa will be flying to the popular holiday region Monday through to Friday and on Sunday; the service will be operated with an aircraft from the German company Avanti Air.

The new service takes one hour and 45 minutes to fly from Berlin to Bavaria’s third-largest commercial airport. From Allgäu Airport in Memmingen, it is only a short journey to the holiday region of Allgäu and to the neighbouring countries of Austria and Switzerland. The journey time to Munich from Memmingen is around one hour.

Flying for the brand flytouropa, an ATR 72 Turboprop aircraft owned by the German airline Avanti Air with 68 seats will fly from Berlin to Memmingen and back daily except for Saturday. From Berlin the flights leave on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8.15am (Memmingen-Berlin at 6.05am), on Tuesday and Thursday at 2pm (leaving Memmingen at 11.55am). On Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday there is an additional flight to Memmingen at 8.15pm (leaving Memmingen at 6.05pm).

Tickets can be booked in three different price categories. Prices for a single flight start at €111 including taxes and fees. Tickets can be booked online at
