On Monday and Wednesday: Fewer taxis operating from Tegel Airport

Due to a demonstration to be held by the city’s taxi associations, travellers should note that fewer taxis will be operating from Tegel Airport between 7:00 am and 12:00 pm on Monday, 6 August 2012, and Wednesday, 8 August 2012. Passengers and visitors are advised to use public transport instead.

Passengers travelling to the western city centre can take buses numbers X9 and 109 via S+U-Bahn station Jungfernheide to S+U-Bahn station Zoologischer Garten. Passengers travelling Berlin Mitte can take the TXL express bus via S-Bahn station Beusselstraße and Berlin Hauptbahnhof to Alexanderplatz.
