Air Lituanica from Berlin to Vilnius
05.08.13 17:37Vilnius, which is close to the border to Belarus, is the biggest city in Lithuania with over 540,000 inhabitants, and it is the country’s political, economic and cultural centre. With its numerous baroque buildings and more than 50 churches, the city – popularly known as the “Rome of the East” – is a very popular travel destination. The historic city centre, which was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994, offers plenty for visitors to discover and explore all year round.
Air Lituanica, which was founded in July 2013, offers a choice of flights to destinations in Europe from its home airport of Vilnius. Berlin-Tegel is the only airport Air Lituanica flies to in Germany.
