Caverion and Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH (FBB) agree on outstanding work at the capital’s airport. The important correction of faults as well as additional work on the sprinkler system should therefore be completed in summer 2018.

The additional work on the sprinkler system at Berlin Brandenburg Airport will be completed by August 2018. Caverion Deutschland GmbH assures this within the framework of their agreement with Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH (FBB). A binding timetable for the remaining work was also agreed on. Thus, long and constructive discussions with the operating company were successfully concluded.

"We are very happy to have found a contractual basis for the work still to be done on the sprinkler system," says Werner Kühn, Managing Director of Caverion Germany, after the signing. Thereby, all prerequisites are met for the company to quickly implement the additionally necessary installation and modification work.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Engelbert Lütke Daldrup, Chief Executive Officer of Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH, also emphasises the shared understanding that prevailed during the discussion between Caverion and FBB on the occasion that the agreement was reached. "I am convinced that with the agreements we have reached, we have made a major step towards being able to complete the construction at Berlin Brandenburg Airport together in 2018."
