Tel Aviv, Brussels, Nantes, and Odesa: Ryanair, easyJet and Wizz Air have added new destinations from Berlin to their flight plans for the upcoming winter. The 2019/2020 winter flight plan took effect on Sunday, 27 October 2019. Whether swimming in the sea or skiing in the snow, hiking in the mountains or shopping in one of the world’s metropolises – the choice is generally extensive.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Engelbert Lütke Daldrup, Chief Executive Officer of Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH: “Compared with the strong growth during last winter’s flight plan, we do not expect passenger numbers to continue to rise this winter. The capital region’s airports are also feeling the effects of the economic downturn, the insolvency of the Thomas Cook tourism group, and the as yet unresolved Brexit. 70 airlines will fly to 148 destinations in 55 countries from Tegel and Schönefeld during the winter flight plan. This is a very good range of offers for our passengers, and speaks for the attractiveness of Berlin-Brandenburg as a location.”

This winter, the Tegel flight plan includes 15 intercontinental connections, including five long-haul destinations. In addition, there are 71 European destinations, and a further eight domestic destinations. 54 airlines fly to 94 destinations in 46 countries from Berlin-Tegel.
