Conditions of Use - C Lounge

1. General Information

1.1. These Conditions of Use apply to the C Lounge at Berlin Tegel Airport (TXL).

1.2. The Common Use Lounge is open from 6:30 am (CET) until 30 minutes before the final departure on each day in Terminal C of Airport TXL.

1.3. The range of services includes:

  • Hot and cold snacks (breakfast served until 11 a.m.)
  • Large selection of teas and coffees
  • Non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages
  • Wi-Fi access
  • TV and flight info displays
  • A modern feel and comfort on three floors
  • Exclusive view of the apron
  • Rooftop terrace
  • Separate smoking room

We endeavour to continuously provide you with the best possible range of dishes and beverages. Yet depending on the demand, the range of food and drinks may be limited. Food and drink brought into the lounge by guests may not be consumed.

1.4. The lounge may be used for no longer than three hours after initial entry. Guests may leave the lounge at any time during this period, however, this does not disrupt the three-hour period of use. If you would like to stay longer, please contact the information desk.

1.5. The lounge can be found past security in the Schengen area. You must undergo an airport security check before entering the lounge for the first time. Please keep in mind any safety information regarding this given by your airline. Passengers departing to a country outside of the Schengen area must allow for enough additional time for border control before departure.

1.6. No liability is assumed for the correctness of flight times and departure gates displayed in the lounge. Passengers are obliged to find out for themselves their boarding and departure times from their airline, as well as about the situation on-site at the airport. Lounge Services assume no responsibility or liability for passengers reaching their departure gate and boarding on time. Flights are not announced in the lounge; this allows for the opportunity to relax during your stay. Passengers are therefore required to find out about their departure times themselves.

2. Access Authorisation

2.1. The lounge may only be accessed by passengers with a valid flight ticket and departure on the same day the lounge is used.

2.2. Access authorisation can be acquired from your airline or, as part of special programmes, from individual providers. A token of entry is then noted on your boarding card. Certain debit cards likewise enable you to access the lounge. Before entry is granted, the service team will examine your access authorisation. Please find out information regarding this from your airline or the provider of the special programme.

2.3. In addition to this, all passengers may purchase access authorisation, taking capacity limits into account. Use of the lounge can only be granted for the day of the flight and for Berlin Tegel as the airport of departure. A valid flight ticket must be brought along.

2.4. The lounge operator reserves the right to refuse access to the lounge, especially if the lounge cannot be opened or used due to force majeure, strikes or measures taken by the authorities, or if the capacity does not allow for the support of any more passengers.

2.5. Users of the lounge are encouraged to be considerate of all lounge users, and in this respect to behave calmly. Should any problems occur during your stay, please contact the service personnel to help and advise you.
