Quick and easy: use your airline's online check-in service hours before your departure time. This enables you to reserve your chosen seat and print out your own boarding card – in the comfort of your own home, at the office or wherever you are.

An online boarding card is a great way to save time. If you are only taking hand luggage with you, you can go straight to the security checkpoint with your boarding card and your identity card or passport, then on to the gate. Passengers with hold baggage can hand it in at the baggage drop-off desks in the terminal.
