To and from the airport

Arriving by car

If you are traveling to Tegel Airport by car, a number of parking spaces reserved for persons with reduced mobility are available on arrival. These can be found here:

  • Car park P2 (six spaces)
  • Car park P5 (five spaces)
  • Short-Stay car park (two spaces)

Travelers or visitors with reduced mobility, who have a disabled person's pass with the "G", "aG", "B" or "BL" qualifiers to it, and a blue or orange parking permit are entitled to free parking for up to an hour. To receive a one-hour grace period, please turn to Airport Information in Terminal A or Terminal C with the corresponding documents. For longer periods, after having submitted the documents to the parking office located in the car rental centre in front of P2 carpark, you will receive a 50% discount off the valid parking charges for the car parking spaces in question. In accordance with Section 46 StVO (German Road Traffic Regulations), parking charges shall be waived on presentation of an exemption certificate to the parking office.

Please place your EU "Blue Badge" or orange parking permit behind your vehicle's windscreen so that it is clearly visible.

Arriving / departing by bus

There are several bus services that run from Tegel Airport to the city centre of Berlin. The airport is excellently connected to the Berlin public transport network. The four BVG (Berlin public transport) bus stops are located directly in front of Terminals A and B. The intercity bus to Dresden stops close to terminal E (lower level).
