Observation deck Tegel

Observation deck Tegel

The observation deck is located between Terminals A and D. The observation deck at Tegel Airport will be open until 7 November 2020. Free season tickets can be booked online.

However, due to current hygiene and distance regulations, only a limited number of people are permitted on the terrace at any one time. Between 11.00 and 20.30 hrs, a good 900 people can visit the visitors' terrace every day. In order to give as many people as possible the opportunity to experience Tegel Airport at close quarters and to say goodbye, the visiting time per person is one hour. Interested parties must therefore book a ticket for themselves and up to four other people in advance. A maximum of two visits per person is possible.

Please note the following terms of use:

  • Please observe the general distance and hygiene rules. Please wear mouth and nose protection.
  • Unscheduled closure is possible in case of adverse weather conditions or other unforeseeable events.
  • All visitors are subject to a security check (unisex).
  • Visitors insisting on a security check by staff of their own sex must contact security staff immediately (long waiting times possible).
  • Children below the age of 14 must be accompanied by an advisory person.
  • Animals and luggage are not permitted. Baby strollers are permitted when checked manually by the security staff.
  • You are welcome to bring food and drink (although glass bottles are not permitted).
  • Dangerous actions, e.g. smoking, throwing items from the deck or glaring aircrafts and/or staff, are strictly prohibited.
